FY 2022-23 PIBOs: Annual Report Filing Deadline and Late Fee Details

In the financial year 2022-23, Public Interest Benefit Organizations (PIBOs) are reminded of the upcoming deadline for the submission of their Annual Report. PIBOs registered during this financial year are required to file their Annual Report by November 30th, 2023. It is crucial for PIBOs to adhere to this deadline to comply with regulatory requirements. Failure to submit the Annual Report on time will result in penalty fees as per the guidelines established by the Environmental Clearance (EC). A penalty of Rs. 5,000/- will be levied on PIBOs who miss the December 5th, 2023 deadline, and a penalty fee of Rs. 10,000/- will be applicable for those filing by December 15th, 2023. Subsequently, after this grace period, the Annual Report will be automatically filed, and any applicable Environmental Clearance fees will be charged to the respective PIBO. This announcement serves as a reminder for PIBOs to fulfil their reporting obligations within the stipulated timeframe to avoid penalties and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
