ISI / BIS Certification for Veneered decorative plywood

Veneered decorative plywood has been included in the mandatory ISI Certification Scheme under IS 1328: 1996. This product cannot be exported/imported or sold in the Indian consumer market without ISI Mark imprinted.

This standard covers types of plywood with ornamental veneers on one or both faces used for decorative purposes, such as furniture making, and paneling of all kinds, including paneling for railway coaches, buses, and ships.
