ISI / BIS Certification for Stainless Steel Sinks for Domestic Purposes

Stainless Steel Sinks for Domestic Purposes have been included in the mandatory ISI Certification Scheme under IS 13983:1994. This product cannot be exported/imported or sold in the Indian consumer market without ISI Mark imprinted. This standard covers requirements regarding material, dimensions, construction, and workmanship for sit-on and inset-type stainless steel sinks for domestic purposes. Options are specified for sinks with or without overflow holes, tap holes, or selected waste facilities. The standard does not specify methods of supporting or methods of fixing and sealing sinks.
