ISI / BIS Certification for Medium density fibre boards for general purpose

Medium-density fiber boards for general purpose has been included in the mandatory ISI Certification Scheme under IS 12406:2021. This product cannot be exported/imported or sold in the Indian consumer market without ISI Mark imprinted.

• This standard covers the requirements of medium density fibre (MDF) boards for general purposes having density in the range of 600 kg/m3 to 900 kg/m3.
• This standard does not cover veneered or laminated or pre-laminated or other specially treated boards, moulded boards, etc.
