Addendum Released by BEE in DISHA Manual for Household Appliances

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India has made an addendum in the DISHA manual, adding relevant information to the original clause.

Adding to the original clause of the DISHA manual, the addendum says:

• If the samples are not available in the market and are not being traced, then the permittee will have to provide the production information when asked by the Bureau.
• In case the production continues, BEE shall again search the samples/models through its designated agencies.
• If the model is not found, check testing of the first sample shall be considered as final.
• It shall be binding on the permittee.

Note: All other terms and conditions of the DISHA manual will remain the same.
