Extension Order for Specific Chemicals

The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, under the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016, has announced amendments to various Quality Control Orders for specific chemicals, with the aim of ensuring adherence to the established quality standards. According to this order, BIS has granted an extension for certain chemicals, and they will come into effect by the same date, such as:

• Morpholine (Quality Control) Order, 2020 - 1st August, 2023
• Acetic Acid (Quality Control) Order, 2019 - 3rd August, 2023
• Methanol (Quality Control) Order, 2019 - 3rd August, 2023
• Aniline (Quality Control) Order, 2019 - 3rd August, 2023
• Pyridine (Quality Control) Order, 2020 - 13th September, 2023
• Gamma Picoline (Quality Control) Order, 2020 - 13th September, 2023
• Beta Picoline (Quality Control) Order, 2020 - 13th September, 2023
• Potassium Carbonate (Quality Control) Order, 2020 - 13th September, 2023
• Acetone (Quality Control) Order, 2020 - 13th September, 2023
• Sodium Tripolyphosphate (Quality Control) Order, 2020 - 13th September, 2023
