Introduction to the BEE Alert for Production Data and Labelling Fees Submission

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has issued an important alert for all registered manufacturers and permittees under the Standards & Labelling (S&L) Program.

As per this notification, all concerned entities are required to submit their production data along with the applicable labelling fees for the financial year 2024–25.

Key Changes of the QCO You Should Know

As per the QCO, the following are the changes:

1. Submission of production data for all registered models is mandatory
2. Payment of labelling fees for FY 2024–25 must be completed
3. A penalty of 10% will be applicable on outstanding dues
4. Even if there is nil production, submission is still required
5. A Chartered Accountant (CA) certified statement must be provided

Failure to comply may result in:

• Suspension of portal access
• Further action as per BEE regulations and operational guidelines

Non-compliance will be treated as a violation under the S&L Program guidelines.
