For Indian OEMs, any executive holding responsibility for BEE-related matters needs to be appointed as an Authorized Signatory through an official Authorization Letter from their respective company.

Foreign OEM

Foreign OEMs are required to designate an Authorized Indian Representative and Signatory (AIR). This AIR should be an executive of an Indian business organization affiliated with a foreign manufacturer.

Important Note: Brand Liaison can serve as the AIR for Foreign OEMs, provided they do not have any alternative arrangements in place, and this service is available at a cost of USD 900 for the initial three years.
